1 Dell Inspiron 14z (i5) Review

Dell Inspiron considered entry-level laptops, but the days of cheap, bulky plastic covers seem to be behind them. In fact, the Inspiron 14z (i5) with a brushed aluminum top that makes its predecessor, the Inspiron 14z, looks like a relic. In addition, the chassis is a complete overhaul. The experience of writing is simply beautiful, as it uses the same Chiclet-style, slightly wavy line keys Dell XPS great improvement from the previous iteration Inspiron 14z. In addition, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, 14Z (i5) is a wireless display 2 (Widi 2.0), which, as HDMI and DisplayPort, send video and audio without the wires annoying. Need a Netgear Push2TV HD receiver, instead, $ 49 extra on the Dell site.

Performance

Inspiron 14z (i5) is much faster than the original Dell 14z in terms of CPU architecture, the gigahertz rating and energy consumption. In fact, I think the 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5-2410M Inspiron 14z (i5) is a standard voltage processor, unlike the low-voltage version available in Dell 14z. It is a monstrous jump in speed, and with 6 GB of memory, 14z braking (i5) treated Main (1:58) and Cinebench R11.5 (2.56) so violently that Asus U46E-BAL5 (1:53 on the brake hand on Cinebench 2.59) and QX411 Samsung-W01 (1:59 on the hand brake; on Cinebench 2.56). He received top marks in the PCMark 7 (2308), a gauge of overall performance, although the rest of the field was not too far behind. In terms of graphics power, the Intel integrated graphics solution to many games with medium quality settings. But the mainstream laptops such as HP Envy 14 (Sandy Bridge) and W01-QX411 Samsung has discrete graphics chips, allowing users to call eye-candy.

The speed of the world does not matter if the mainstream laptops can not hold a charge on the road. Fortunately, 14Z (i5) contains a large battery 65WH, which lasted 8 hours 38 minutes MobileMark 2007 battery test. Score said that Samsung QX411-W01 (8:48), and Gateway ID47H02u (8.23), and maybe the Asus-U46E BAL5 (7.19) for over an hour. Unlike batteries, Samsung QX411-W01 and ID47H02u Gateway, one of the 14Z (i5) is removable if you do not want to carry around extra batteries.

When you look at the main components of a consumer notebook, the Dell Inspiron 14z (i5) is highlighted in each of them, if battery life is excellent (more than an hour longer than the Asus-U46E BAL5), speed or its feature set.
